I'm in a bit of a bind here. Parked my BMW in the DIFC this morning for a meeting and when I came back, the car was completely dead—no lights, no central locking, nothing. I managed to get a jump start from a colleague, but now the dash is lit up with warnings and the start-stop system isn't working, which I know is a sign the battery management system is confused. I've heard that BMWs need the battery to be properly registered or coded to the car's computer when it's replaced, otherwise it can cause all sorts of electrical issues. Since I'm stuck here in DIFC, I'm looking for a mobile service that can come to me and do a proper job with the registration. I need a reliable BMW battery change in DIFC that uses genuine parts and can handle the coding process properly. Has anyone used a mobile battery service around this area and can recommend one that does a proper job? I really need to get this sorted today before I end up stranded again.
