Oil leak dripping onto the exhaust manifold, burning smell
Permalink

I've got a 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK with the 3.6 Pentastar. I've noticed a burning oil smell when I stop after driving, and sometimes a little smoke comes from under the hood. I looked underneath and saw oil dripping onto the exhaust manifold from above. A friend said it could be the valve cover gasket, which is common on these engines. I need to find a shop that offers Premium Leak Detection Abu Dhabi and can pinpoint exactly where the oil is coming from, whether it's the valve cover, the oil filter housing, or the oil cooler. Has anyone here had an oil leak on the Pentastar that drips onto the exhaust and found it was the oil filter housing? Also wondering if a leaking rear main seal could drip there. The car has 110k km and the leak is getting worse. Any advice on what to check first or a good leak specialist in Abu Dhabi would be great. Thanks.
